- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs (well beaten)
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/2 cup waluts (crushed)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Cream the sugar, shortening and vanilla. Add the eggs. Mix well. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Stir in the bananas and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes in a greased and floured loaf pan.
