Vegetable Oil 1/2 cup Apple Sauce Cinnamon, Optional Vanilla, Optional Fruit (Berries/Bananas), Optional Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Optional (Bakers and Trader Joe's offer semi-sweet that have no milk fat or whey.) Instructions ------------ Mix all ingredients with a whisk until consistency is good. The batter tends to be very thick and this is normal. If you add extra liquid the pancake will not cook well. Heat electric griddle to 350 degrees, stove top pan to medium heat. Pancakes will not form tiny bubbles on top like dairy pancakes typically do. Flip after about 3-4 minutes or until desired color. Cook for about 1-2 minutes longer on the other side. Enjoy with real maple syrup and vegan Earth Balance butter!! Whole-grain pancake mix may be substituted for some or all of the pancake mix.
