- 8-10 oz. fresh spinach (torn into bite size pieces)
- 1 quart sliced strawberries
- 3 green onions (chopped)
- 3 large bananas (sliced)
- 1/2 cup almonds (Slivered or sliced and toasted)
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup onion
- 2 1/2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds
Poppy seed dressing:
In blender, blend the oil, onion, vinegar, sugar, mustard and salt. Add poppy seeds and set aside.
Put the rest of the ingredients in salad bowl. Toss with dressing just before serving.
