*** This recipe is online at http://orthodoxkitchen.com/recipes/green-bean-salad/ *** ====================== Green Bean Salad ====================== Serves 6-8 Ingredients ----------- 6 cups sliced green beans (cooked, but still crisp) 1 medium red onion 1/2 cup diced red pepper 1/2 cup diced celery 1 tbsp. fresh oregano, minced 1 tbsp. fresh dill weed, minced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1 clove garlic, pressed 1/3 cup olive oil 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup red wine 1/4 cup sugar Instructions ------------ Put vegetables in a large bowl. Place remaining ingredients in a jar, shake well, and pour over vegetables. Chill for at least two hours. This recipe is best made a day ahead.
