- 3/4 lb. fresh green beans (washed, trimmed and cut into 1/4 " lengths)
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger (finely grated)
- 1/2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup water
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and cook over medium heat until the green beans are tender. Serve hot or chill and serve as a salad.
