Green Beans with Ginger

Serves 4-6

  • 3/4 lb. fresh green beans (washed, trimmed and cut into 1/4 " lengths)
  • 1 tbsp. fresh ginger (finely grated)
  • 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup water

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and cook over medium heat until the green beans are tender. Serve hot or chill and serve as a salad.
