Hummus

Serves 4-6

  • 1 clove of garlic (peeled)
  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp. tahini
  • 1/4 cup water (plus an additional 4 Tablespoons, or as needed)

Blend the ingredients thoroughly in a food processor. Serve as a dip for chips, crackers or raw vegetables.
