   Sweet Potatoe and Apple Casserole

Serves 8-10 

Ingredients

6-8 sweet potatoes
6-8 apples
2 cups water
4 tbsp. corn starch
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. butter


Instructions
------------
Boil potatoes until tender. Peel and slice. 
Peel and slice apples.
Arrange in layers in a 9x13 baking dish with potatoes as last layer.
In sauce pan mix water, cornstarch, sugar and salt and bring to a boil. Add butter and
cook until thickened.
Pour sauce over the potatoes and apples. Cover and bake at 325 for 1 hour. Uncover and
bake another 15 min.
