Vegan Biscuits

Makes 15-20 small biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 5 tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 cup soy milk or rice milk

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a mixing bowl. Add the oil and rice or soy milk, and mix until just combined.

Drop by the tablespoon onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes, until light brown on top.

You may substitute whole wheat flour for 1/2 cup of the flour.
